The auto tour loop is only about 5 mi (partially paved) however there are several out and back sections I can get a 20 mile run in of I wanted. I also see people ride gravel bikes out here from time to time. Depending on the time of year you come there are various wild flowers and views of Pinnacle in the distance. Despite what others have said there is not a ton of traffic even if you go on the paved road by the range still not much traffic maybe a little more so on weekends with fisherman and boaters. There is plenty of parking across from the archery range. The bathrooms are usually locked but there are plenty of places to go in the woods. It's easy to get to the lake or the pond there are several access points. There are some areas that are a little overgrown but it's well maintained for the most part. My friend walks her dogs out here and likes they have water upfront to hose them down with after. The terrain is not entirely flat there are a few short steep hills here and there. Great trail.
