Weather Long summers in Daytona Beach Shores Daytona Beach Shores boasts a humid, subtropical climate, characterized by hot, humid summers and winter temperatures that rarely drop below freezing, with little in the way of snowfall. Summers are generally long and hot, with temperatures frequently in the upper 90s, so come prepared with hats, sunblock and glasses! Bear in mind that you're in the hurricane belt in Daytona Beach Shores, and there's a risk of them at any time between June 1 through to the end of November.
