Time off with family Cons Long hrs, management always changing ways to report invoices Productive and fun work environment Warehouse Supervisor (Current Employee) - Midland, TX - January 14, 2015 Working at AES was a very uplifting work environment. I have learned excessive social and communication skills, as well as job security. The upper management does have weaknesses and can be very harsh toward employees. My co-workers where very good people with great morals they made my job very easy they are very understanding and supportive toward one another. The job was not very hard at all but the hardest part was investigating issues that occur. The best part of AES was working with my crew and being able to complete every task that was given. Pros great benefits and health care Cons diversity between different fields of operation Dispatcher Dispatcher (Current Employee) - Midland, TX - March 21, 2014 I am responsible for dispatching trucks to deliver products. Also contacting rig engineers and field supervisors to schedule rig moves and deliveries.
Provided flight transportation to and from work. Never had issue with central office. I was very happy during my time working with AES AES treats you like family. When you work here, you feel more like brothers and sisters with roles, than peers, supervisors and management. AES is a strong, growing company and a solid place to work. One of the best jobs I've ever had. Literally no complaints. The best fluids company I've been a part of in my short oilfield career. They let you make the decisions, deliveries are extremely fast and they get you all of the tools necessary to do your job. Can't say that for other companies I've worked for. Aggressive Professional environment, beware of backstabbing politics in the office. You can be the best on your job and still someone in the office will stab you in the back and you will loose your job without any opportunity given to defend yourself, even when the client is stepping in to defend you and your value and professionalism. AES is a great employer to work for.

If you aren't family or from the Northeast region, you are just a number to them. It does not matter what you do or how much you give to AES. Upper management is a joke and not to be trusted. If you want to work for a company that turns their back on you in a minute, I guess the benefits are good. Worse oilfield company I have worked for Warm body (Former Employee) - Big Lake, TX - November 28, 2020 Family mafia that has heavy pull. Promised a rotation and then expected my family to move. Pay was extremely low, no dispatch to answer phone past 5pm and expected the manager to take calls once office closed and on weekends.
