Membership Refunds and Cancellation Policy CANCELLATIONS We would hate to see you go, however if you choose to cancel your membership you must notify the YMCA in writing at least 2 weeks prior to your draft date of cancellation. REFUNDS Membership refunds are only permitted when there are extenuating circumstances that limited you from notifying the YMCA of your cancellation. These would need to be accompanied by proper documentation (i. e. doctor's note). If you were incorrectly charged due to the YMCA's failure to cancel or put the membership on hold, a full refund will be given as long as the refund is accompanied by proper documentation (i. hold form, cancel form, email, etc). Under these circumstances, the YMCA will not refund more than six months of membership at any given time. In the case that you receive a scholarship through our YMCA Flexible Pricing program and you have been alerted that your rate will be expiring and have failed to provide renewal documentation, no refund will be given.
The decision to close the University, a Campus, or other site where University operations take place is to be made by the parties set out in the chart below. Normally, a closure will be considered in conjunction with the decision to cancel classes (see above). In the event of a closure, all events being held at that location will be cancelled and all activities will be cancelled. Because many facilities remain operational on weekends, a closure could take place on any day of the week. Normally, on weekdays, such action would be taken in conjunction with the decision to cancel classes (see above). Until the decision to "close" all operations is announced, the University is to be considered open and operations should continue as usual (if on-campus classes have been cancelled, then only non-teaching operations should continue as usual). closed site will be automatically re-opened on the day following the closure. Should it be necessary to continue closure beyond the first day, the above procedure will be followed again in its entirety.
American Airlines has had a higher rate of cancelled flights this summer than other US airlines, according to a new report. The airline has been badly affected by severe weather, the ongoing grounding of the Boeing 737 Max, and mechanical issues forcing it to take aircraft out of service. The airline alleges that unions representing its mechanics have illegally organized a work slowdown as contract negotiations continue. Visit Business Insider's homepage for more stories. It's been a rough summer so far for American Airlines — especially compared to its competition. According to a new report from The Wall Street Journal, American has faced skyrocketing cancellations, with 7, 500 in June, or 4% of all of its scheduled flights. That cancellation rate was 18 times higher than Delta's, according to the report, and higher than competitors JetBlue and United, which each cancelled less than 1% of their flights in June. American's on-time arrival rate hovered at around 70% along with United's and JetBlue's, according to the report.
