'" A search through public records revealed that the photographer had filed more than 40 similar cases that year. They negotiated him down and agreed to pay a fee of $500. But now I'm coming through the Rollercoaster. Hill after hill, dropped down to 45 again and my trailer actually started to slide out with no external braking force. Service or engine. That's when I decided to call it. First on - ramp I could find had a bit of an incline to it, and I actually started to slide backwards when i set the tractor bake. Went to the next ramp and tried again. Less of an incline, but same issue. So, against my better judgement, I set the trailer brake. Hopefully that won't come back to bite me in the morning. I'm still on probation at my union job. Once you're officially off probation and in the union, you really have to work to get fired. I mean, I've heard from other guys that you can run into a ditch or get into an accident once per 12 month period and be fine. Twice and you're fired. But on probation? You nick a pole and you're done. I just got married in August and my wife and I have some pretty aggressive financial goals we want to hit within the next 6 months.
